Triphenyl phosphate will be officially added to the SVHC list!
On October 16, 2024, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced that the Member State Committee (MSC) has agreed to identify Triphenyl phosphate (TPP)—the addition of which to the Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) List had previously been deferred—as a Substance of Very High Concern. ECHA is scheduled to publish an announcement in early November formally adding this substance to the SVHC List, at which point the list will expand from 241 to 242 entries.
